Switch Templates on a live store

One of the most powerful features of BTS in osCMax is the ability to switch the template through the URL.

Go to your Admin Panel –> Configuration –> My Store –> Template Switching Allowed and set the to true

You can then simply switch template by appending ?tplDir=aabox to your index page.

You can use this functionality to create a new look and feel for your store without other people knowing and then when you are happy with it switch over. Or you could even let some people view it by giving them the URL to access.
